THE GLASS MENAGERIE by Tennessee Williams
Family tensions and alienations, domestic relationships, dreams of flight and cries of the heart are all part of The Glass Menagerie, one of the most fascinating and enduring plays in American literature.
Set in St Louis, Missouri in the 1930’s, in the apartment of the Wingfield family, the ‘The Glass Menagerie’ explores the many levels of the human condition.
ETNY’s powerful and interactive repeat and continue format gives the students a chance to have the scene repeated if they wish. After each scene the actors "freeze" and the audience decides what's next. In post-performance discussions, the audience speaks directly to the characters.
